"Larry is the most infuriating condescending piano player we have ever met. He bullies us into giving him a request. When we do he either refuses to play it - tells us to go into the elevator and listen out for Kenny G...."

We heard some of the funniest put downs to people who thought they could outsmart him. Great show, Larry..." GD (Santa Barbara, Calif) Coral Princess 2007 * * * "Forget about going to the tour office and asking what a port is going to be like. Listen to Larry's nightly report on how 'ghastly' the next day is going to be!!!! He had us in stitches every night. A really funny guy who just happens to play the piano and sing great..." "..He has been likened to Simon Cowell, Frasier, Basil Fawlty and even Stewie from Family Guy. But whatever the comparison Larry Dunsmore is simply the funniest acerbic piano entertainer in the business today!
Possessing an extraordinary voice, great piano playing coupled with a scathing wit Larry is guaranteed to have any audience laughing and bopping at the same time. He is the ultimate performer and draws his audience in (victims as he likes to call them) from the moment he sits down at the piano and frowns. They are in for a treat!\ We heard some of the funniest put downs we have ever heard and we marvelled at the speed he delivered in what is always an unscripted and totally improvised show. We watched his piano bar show no less than 14 times and each time it was completely different from the previous night. It is understandable why his audience are reserving seats up to 2 hours before he begins... His headline shows "To Be Perfectly Frank" and the amazing "Hollywood Heroes" leave his audiences feeling as though they have witnessed something very special..." GMF 2011 |
